Inspired by the vision of an innovative company, though rich in tradition, Georg Stradiot founded the Wiener Silber Manufactur in 2008, a brand whose roots go back to 1882.
Wiener Silber Manufactur has an archive of 11,000 original designs, including works of masters of the Wiener Werkstätte such as Josef Hoffmann, Kolo Moser, Otto Prutscher and Oswald Haerdtl. It was in their creative period that Vienna became the artistic and intellectual centre of Europe.
Wiener Silber Manufactur reissues original designs, including masterpieces like Josef Hoffmann's revolutionary cutlery No. 135 from 1902, or a sugar bowl designed by Kolo Moser, which Gustav Mahler gave to his wife Alma on their first Christmas Eve together in 1902.
In cooperation with national and international contemporary designers like Thomas Feichtner, Tino Valentinitsch, Rainer Scharf, Claesson–Koivisto–Rune, Marco Dessi or Tomás Alonso, all of whom have a worldwide reputation, Wiener Silber Manufactur brings out state-of-the-art design of the highest quality.
